Robotics Project

Robotics Project was launched on July 10, 2014 by Fabian Beck to offer students an opportunity to learn and gain experience in the field of robotics.

The project is for all students with interest in robotics no matter how much experience they have. Taking part in the team, students share and exchange their knowledge with others and have fun building robots. Moreover, they can apply their knowledge into practice in several small projects and tasks.

In 2014, we started our first project, autonomously flying quadrotor, with support from Dr.-Ing. Tobias Simon (Integrated Communications Systems Group) and Alexander Barth (Control Engineering Group).

So far we have developed multiple robots and taken part in various international robotics competitions.

From the beginning of 2016, Robotik Project is part of the Research Community for Electronic Media (FeM).

Team meeting:

During the semester, we meet every Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at Zusebau Room Z1073.
